Dogs accepted into classes

Dogs over the age of 4 months

Dogs not accepted into classes

Dogs over the age of 6 months that have not been desexed unless prior approval has been given by the Instructor

Dogs which have been classed as “Dangerous” by the local Council

Class numbers

Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The ratio of instructor to students will be no more than 1:4.

Handlers and Dogs

Each dog must have a dedicate handler - ie 1 dog 1 handler

Vaccination and Sterilisation Certificates

You will need to bring your vaccination certificate for viewing to the first class. If you dog is over 6 months of age you need to bring your sterilisation certificate as well.


We are not able to accommodate make up classes for sessions missed.  Your instructor will contact you if you have missed a class to discuss what was covered in that class.  


Payment is to be made in full at the first class

Declines and Referrals

In order to protect all participants in a class, we reserve the right to decline entry to any dog who presents behaviour issues that may be dangerous, disruptive, or that may be exacerbated by participation in a group class.  If bePhaviour issues are discovered during the class and the instructor determines that it is in everyone's best interest for you to seek a private trainer, you will be provided with a qualified trainer referral and a refund.

Children in class

We encourage family members to come to training class with the handler.  The following guidelines must be followed with regard to children attending our dog training classes:  Handlers must be at least 14 years of age; handlers younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.  Children must be at least 5 years of age to attend class, children between the age of 5 and 8 must have dedicated supervision by an adult.  Parents must supervise their children during the entire class.


If a minimum enrolment for the class is not met prior to the first class session, the class will be cancelled or postponed. We will notify you at least 1 day before the class is scheduled to see if you would like to enrol in an alternate class.

Refund Policy

Refunds will not be given, except in extenuating circumstances


80% attendance at class is expected in order to receive a certificate for course completion. Where attendance is less than 80% a certificate will be awarded citing the partial completion of the course.


The owner is responsible for the removal of excrement that their pet is responsible for. Poo bags will be provided.
